The 80s were unique and irreplaceable, so it makes total sense to turn them into NFTs. This way, all those things that belong to our past and led us to where we are now, can become part of our future as well.
No random generations here, every piece is created manually and designed under the inspiration of the 80s design language. All of them are grouped into different categories which will be increasing with future drops.
Sit by the radio, wait for the perfect song to come on, pray so the radio host does not speak and start filling your mixtape with memories.
Dim the lights, turn on your lava lamp and stare at it ‘till you lose the count of the years you’ve been there hypnotized by its colors and relaxing movement.
The best trading cards ever… No doubt Floppy Disks are the coolest way to share data, programs, games or even malware! Keep calm though, these are clean ;)
Make popcorn, relax on the sofa, pick the VHS with your favorite movie and enjoy: your sister’s wedding? Wait, that shouldn’t be there… Who the hell recorded on top of it? Luckily these are NFT VHS, so your movie is safe ;)
Don’t forget to check the playback speed before listening to your new vinyl unless you like hearing squirrels fight or the singer of the group possessed by some demons…
Play with them as much as you want, these cubes won't fall apart, their pieces are joined by the power of the NFTs…
There’s no need for an introduction, this thing made history. Now here it is, in another important moment in modern history.
Some pieces are Special Editions such as the “Made in the 80s”. These are more exclusive and rare than the normal items and give you access to future exclusive content or airdrops among other features.
The
Roadmap
1.0
Made in the 80s
At the moment, the plan is to turn objects and elements from the 80s into collectible NFTs, so you can own again those items that, in some way, are already part of you.
1.1
First drop
The first drop contains 303 unique pieces distributed into different categories (mix tapes, lava lamps, floppy disks...).
1.2
Following drops
The next step is to keep adding more items to the list. Expect to see new things such as arcades or game boys, but also different models of the already existing categories. When talking about the 80s, the space is the limit ;)
2.0
Future plans
If the project is well supported, there are plans for taking it some steps further and making it available in places like the Metaverse. The goal is that your items can be with you everywhere you go in the digital world.
2.1
Roadmap 2.0
Once we reach the 2.0 step the new roadmap will be revealed.
Who's
behind
the
project?
Hi there! I’m CHRLY DSIGN and I’m the one behind the Made in the 80s NFT Collection. I’m a digital designer who fell in love with NFTs, web 3.0 and basically everything that has to be with the digital world. Also with the 80s, but guess you already knew that ;)
This collection is just the beginning of what is to come, so if you’d like to share this journey with me, I’ll leave my socials down below so you can stick around. Thanks for all the support!
